Bansoukou [絆創膏] - Mod Patcher
Bansōkō [絆創膏] is a lightweight coremod that greatly simplifies the process of modifying and updating other Minecraft addons.
How the mod works
The system operates on a simple file replacement principle. You need to create a special folder in the .minecraft directory named bansoukou. You can do this manually or simply launch the game with the mod installed — the folder will be created automatically.
Patch configuration process
In the created /bansoukou directory, you place files for patching in jar or zip format. It's important that the archive names exactly match the mod files you plan to modify.
File structure
Create the same directory hierarchy inside patch folders as in the original mod. Place files for replacement using identical relative paths.
Important feature: Bansoukou automatically removes digital signatures during runtime, so you don't need to worry about this.
Additional capability
Want to completely remove a file from a jar archive? Just create an empty file with the same name and path, and Bansoukou will recognize this command and remove the corresponding file from the mod when the game launches.
