Banner Patterns Backport

This mod brings the custom banner patterns system from Minecraft version 1.21.2 to older game versions, including 1.12.2.

Main Features

The mod provides full support for all custom banner patterns added by other modifications. Patterns use standard blank pattern texture and automatically generate their names — these elements can be overridden using resource packs if desired.

Compatibility with Popular Mods

Out of the box, the mod already supports pattern textures for the following popular modifications:

• Quark
• Botania
• Immersive Engineering

Also ensures compatibility with:

• Unseen's Nether Backport — adds piglin banner pattern to loot tables
• Deeper Depths — includes trial chamber patterns in loot tables
• Vanilla Cartographer — enables trading with cartographers for globe patterns

Automatic Configuration

On first game launch, the mod automatically scans all registered banner patterns and saves them to the configuration file. If you add or remove modifications that affect available patterns, simply run the /patternbanners:configupdate command to rescan the system.

Includes functionality from Just Enough Pattern Banners, providing convenient viewing of all available patterns and their information.
