The Backlytra mod brings the Elytra functionality from Minecraft version 1.9.2 to older game versions. It's fully compatible with versions 1.8.9, 1.7.10, and 1.9, allowing players to enjoy flight even in outdated game builds.

Main Features

The mod supports all standard Elytra functions, including cape compatibility and the ability to change appearance through vanilla resource packs. You can dye elytras in various colors similar to the Quark mod, and also configure crafting recipes through configuration files.

Version-Specific Features

In the Minecraft 1.9 version, the mod only adds Elytra sound effects. If you need additional features like dyeing and crafting recipes, it's recommended to install corresponding mods.

For version 1.7.10, basic functionality is available, but custom elytra textures including those from capes and player information are not supported.
