Advantages

Amphibious: You can breathe both underwater and on land, and also swim slightly faster in aquatic environments.

Escape from Death: When taking lethal damage, you don't die but instead gain temporary invisibility, speed, and regeneration. However, this comes at the cost of temporarily reduced maximum health, which gradually recovers. The ability becomes unavailable until health is fully restored. Hearts return upon respawn or waking up and regenerate 2 times faster under the Regeneration effect or at full saturation, and 4 times faster when both conditions are met simultaneously.

Aquatic Affinity: You can break blocks underwater without any hindrance.

Charming Dance: By performing an enchanting dance, you can charm nearby entities, lowering their defense and gaining regeneration. To dance, quickly press the crouch key!

Relief: Your swimming speed and underwater vision improve when moisture levels are low.

Short Stature: Your height is only 1 block, with maximum health of 7 hearts.

Cave Dweller: In poor lighting and low moisture, your vision deteriorates, but in complete darkness (light level 0) you move faster and exhaust more slowly. You can only sleep in darkness. You also have the ability to see in the dark.

Water Dependency: When out of water, you gradually lose moisture. Low moisture levels slow your movement, increase damage taken, and accelerate exhaustion.

Disadvantages

Carnivore: You can only eat meat.
