Auto HUD
The Auto HUD mod automatically hides Minecraft interface elements that are currently inactive or not relevant to the player.

Inspired by similar "immersive hud" modifications from other games, it offers a clean gameplay view while eliminating the limitations of the standard F1 mode. This is a complete overhaul of the outdated Head-down Display project with modern implementation and enhanced capabilities.
Note: Starting from version 4, the Cloth-Config requirement has been removed. To access the in-game settings menu, the YACL mod is needed, but basic functionality works without it.
Key Features
- Global toggle for the entire interface using customizable key binding
- Automatic hiding of static HUD elements
- Hiding of persistent status effects (such as water breathing from turtle shell)
- Display of remaining time for status effects
- Flexible customization according to individual preferences
Differences from F1 Mode
Unlike the standard F1 hotkey, Auto HUD keeps visible:
- Hands and equipped items
- Player names
- Vignette effect
- Chat message appearance
- Crosshair (supplemented by Dynamic Crosshair modification)
Each interface element can be configured separately for optimal visual experience.

Easy setup with detailed control makes the interface completely personalized
Modification demonstration:
Compatibility with Other Modifications
The system includes a modified version of Status Effect Timers for correct timer positioning when effect icons are hidden.
Fully compatible:
- Dynamic Crosshair - extends functionality by dynamically managing crosshair
- Raised - seamless joint operation
- AppleSkin - proper handling of saturation indicators
- DetailArmorBar - built-in support for enhanced armor bar
- BerdiskiyBear's Armor Hud - compatibility in hotbar mode
Cooperative operation: HUDTweaks functions with limitations on displaying vertical status effects bar with timer overlay. For optimal results, animation settings adaptation in AutoHud is required.
Strongly discouraged:
- OpFiFabric (triggers systemic conflicts)
- Modifications with duplicated timer functionality
- Interface management mods - graphic positioning is ignored
- Bedrockify requires manual disabling of the
screenSafeAreaparameter
Fabric framework belongs to the package ecosystem; input functionality will only be loaded when in-game operations are active. Setup details are virtually limitless
