Astro! Remix

Astro! Remix is a revised version of the original Astro! mod by Prismatica, adapted for Forge 1.20.1. This modification expands gameplay possibilities by introducing mauveine, a unique material that controls gravity.

Gameplay Features

Astro! Remix introduces mauveine — an innovative alloy crafted from netherite scrap and amethyst clusters. The material influences local gravity, allowing the creation of items that offer fresh gameplay perspectives.

This mod works exceptionally well with other modifications, particularly those that change movement mechanics while floating.

Items

Mauveine Ingots

Mauveine ingots are the primary resource for creating armor, weapons, and other items that can influence gravity. Crafted from netherite scrap and amethyst clusters on a crafting table.

Mauveine Armor

Mauveine armor is lighter than air. A full set allows the wearer to float in space after jumping. Each piece of equipment reduces weight and slows falling speed.

To complete the full set, craft the Mauveine Diadem, Mauveine Shoulder Pads, Mauveine Leggings, and Mauveine Boots.

Since this armor directly affects gravity in your immediate vicinity, wearing it neutralizes weaker external gravity manipulations, such as those from gravity bombs.

Mauveine Sabre

The Mauveine Sabre, due to its low weight, can be swung with minimal effort. This enables much faster attacks compared to standard swords.

Gravity Bombs

Gravity bombs are throwable projectiles that temporarily alter local gravity. Their mechanism resembles that of lingering potions.

Use the Gravity Bomb (Up) to increase local gravity pull or the Gravity Bomb (Down) to weaken the gravitational effect. Upon explosion, the bomb disperses particle fragments throughout the area, temporarily affecting the gravity of any entities caught within.
