Apocalypse: Countdown
Bring the apocalypse to your world with Apocalypse: Countdown! This modification adds three scalable doomsday scenarios that will make your modpacks and worlds more dangerous and exciting.
Starting the Apocalypse
Activate the apocalypse using a special command. It can be integrated with quest systems or game stages for dynamic event activation.
/apocalypse start [TYPE] [DURATION] [TIME FORMAT]
Example: /apocalypse start solar_apocalypse 30 SECONDS
Additionally, use the clear command to cancel an unwanted apocalypse:
/apocalypse clear
Set a specific apocalypse day to quickly switch between stages:
Example: /apocalypse setDay 5
After activating the event, a countdown will appear on each player's screen, as shown in the image below. When the timer reaches zero, the apocalypse will begin! The timer position is customizable.

Apocalypse Types
Solar Apocalypse
Stage 0 (Beginning):
- Infinite water sources cease to function
Stage 1 (Sun exposure):
- Farmland dries up
- Ice and snow melt
- Podzol, moss, and other blocks (configurable via solar_burns tag) burn up
Stage 2 (Sun exposure):
- Vegetation including leaves, sugar cane, and bamboo withers
- Crops crumble from the heat
- Grass blocks transform into dry dirt
Stage 3:
- All living creatures burn in sunlight
- Water begins evaporating under sunlight
- Water instantly vaporizes when placed in sunlight
The duration of each stage is configurable in the mod settings.

Wither Storm
REQUIRES CRACKER'S WITHER STORM MOD FOR ACTIVATION
When this apocalypse starts, a wither storm spawns at the specified location in your world. Default coordinates are 0, 100, 0, but they can be modified. The wither storm begins destroying everything in its path...
Meteor Shower
This apocalypse continuously rains meteors down on the world. Players must remain cautious as celestial bodies constantly fall from the sky. The meteor spawn probability is configurable in the settings.

Performance
The mod is designed with performance in mind. Some apocalypse elements are limited to minimize impact on server or gameplay. For example, solar apocalypse effects work only in loaded chunks. Meteors fall with minimal particles and only near players.
