Anti-Damage Mod
Immerse yourself in the virtual world with even greater realism thanks to this modification! It fundamentally changes the familiar mechanics of damage and armor functionality in Minecraft, offering an innovative approach to protecting your character.
How the modification works
This modification introduces a new armor system where a full set (four protective items of any type and combination) completely absorbs damage, redirecting it to your equipment's durability. Inspired by the wolf armor mechanics from the Armored Paws update in version 1.20.5, this system guarantees that while you're wearing all four equipment pieces, your character won't lose health from most types of attacks. However, the need for frequent equipment repairs increases, as all impact force transfers to its deterioration.
Interestingly, this mechanic also applies to custom mobs! Now encountering a fully equipped zombie or skeleton becomes a genuine challenge, requiring players to adopt a strategic approach and patience.
Features of different armor types
. Environmental damage Falling from heights, being in lava, fire, and the Warden's sonic boom are not blocked by any armor whatsoever.
. Completely vulnerable materials Armor sets made of felt or cloth (added by third-party modifications) provide absolutely no protection from damage.
Leather equipment
The distinctive feature of this material is limited versatility. Leather armor cannot withstand:
- Explosive damage
- Arrows from bows
- Tridents
Netherite set
The valuable resource demonstrates its exceptionality! Only netherite armor completely neutralizes all types of fire damage, including contact with flames and high temperatures.
Important note: Remember that elytras don't count toward the items needed for a full armor set, unlike masks and skulls worn on the head!
