Another Dusts
This mod introduces a dust system into the game that fundamentally changes the approach to resource processing. Instead of traditional ore mining, you gain the ability to double the output of valuable materials through crushing and subsequent smelting mechanisms.
Key Features
The core mechanic is simple yet effective: from one unit of ore you get two portions of dust, each of which can then be smelted into a full ingot. Thus, you double the amount of resources obtained from the same ore.
For material processing, the mod adds a special device - the Crusher. This mechanism not only processes metallic ores into dust but also efficiently works with non-metallic resources, providing consistently high output - equivalent to the maximum result with Fortune I enchantment. This makes the Silk Touch enchantment particularly valuable for collecting untouched ore blocks.

The mod was created following several important principles:
- Complete compliance with vanilla Minecraft style
- Crushing results always match the best option with Fortune I
- Smelting dust provides the same amount of experience as direct ore smelting
Compatibility
Another Dusts integrates with popular mods:
- Just Enough Items (JEI) - display of crusher and dust smelting recipes
- Tinkers Construct (version 1.8.9 only) - addition of cobalt and ardite dusts, melting recipes
- ProjectE (version 1.8.9 only) - dusts receive EMC values
The mod is excellent for use in modpacks and provides early access to resource doubling mechanics.
