Animated Armor Origin - Living Magical Armor


This mod introduces a unique playable race - the Living Armor, which is a sentient suit of armor animated by mysterious magical spells. Instead of the standard health system, this race uses a durability indicator displayed in the interface. When taking damage, durability decreases by 1 unit per hit.
The race's feature is the necessity to constantly wear the special Living Armor set. While worn, the character does not take health damage. When durability drops to certain thresholds (25%, 50%, 75%), the armor visually deteriorates, applying weakening effects to the character. Complete depletion of durability leads to the character's death.
The Living Armor cannot heal naturally. To restore durability, iron ingots must be used. This race also does not require food - the character never experiences hunger or exhaustion.
The race possesses several unique advantages: complete immunity to all status effects (both positive and negative), resistance to knockback, and protection from regular arrows when the armor is fully intact.
However, there are also limitations: the heavy armor hinders effective swimming - the character sinks and can move freely along the bottom of water bodies. The race also moves 15% slower than a regular human but gains a speed boost when all armor pieces except boots are destroyed.
An interesting feature is that the Living Armor cannot sleep but does not suffer from insomnia and does not attract phantoms.
