Ambient Additions - Natural Diversity in Minecraft
Add more life to your Minecraft world with the Ambient Additions mod! This development fills the game space with diverse animated creatures - from cute corgis and shy crabs to miniature armadillos and symmetrical starfish. The project's idea is to expand Minecraft's fauna, providing players with new opportunities for creating zoos and collecting living creatures.
✋ Creature Capture Mechanics
For collecting and moving animals, the mod provides various methods: many creatures can be caught in buckets, pots, bottles, and bowls. However, for those species that cannot be caught by usual methods, a special sedation and transportation system has been added.

📦 Transportation Containers
Containers represent a new way of moving animals. Empty containers can be used on sedated creatures via right-click to capture them. Similarly, creatures are released back into the world using the same method. When a container contains a mob, it changes texture, acquires enchantment glow, and displays information about the contained creature in the tooltip.
👻 Darts and Blowguns for Sedation
Blowguns function as ranged weapons using darts as ammunition. Like bows, they need to be charged before firing, after which a single dart projectile is released.

Each hit dart applies one level of "stun" effect to the mob. After reaching a certain number of stuns, the creature enters a sedated state for 30 seconds, accompanied by sleep particles. The number of required stuns depends on the mob's health and is calculated according to the following system:
Stun requirements:
- 2.5 hearts = 1 stun
- 5 hearts = 2 stuns
- 10 hearts = 3 stuns
- 25 hearts = 4 stuns
- 25+ hearts = 5 stuns
