Allium

This project is a Lua script loader for Java Minecraft. Currently, it is actively developed for the Fabric platform with plans to add support for Forge and Quilt in the future.

Main Functionality

Allium is just a script loader. For full functionality with the game, you will also need to install bouquet - the API that provides the necessary tools for interacting with game processes.

How to Use

In the same directory where you create the mods folder, you need to create a folder named allium. This is where your Lua scripts will be located. They can be added either as .zip archives or as unpacked files - as regular folders if you want to make changes to the code. This structure is very similar to the organization of datapacks and resource packs, so if you're familiar with them, you'll quickly get the hang of it.

Limitations and Prospects

Although Allium is being created as a convenient gateway to the world of modding, there are currently some limitations. The main ones are the lack of full documentation and mixin support. Work on mixins is underway, but at a slow pace. As for documentation, instead you can study usage examples in the bouquet/examples repository, which shows various ways of working with scripts.
