Aetherium Ashen Armor
This mod expands the capabilities of Aetherworks, which is an addon for Embers Rekindled that introduces Aetherium Gas into the game. Compatibility is ensured with Minecraft Forge version 1.12.2.
Armor Crafting
To obtain enhanced armor, you need to place a piece of the standard Ashen Cloak from Embers Rekindled into a stamper base, add 750mb of Aetherium Gas (volume configurable in settings), and use a bar stamp. As a result, you'll get an "Aetherium-Infused" version of the same equipment piece.
Features and Advantages
The Aetherium-infused armor features improved durability and toughness stats, and automatically receives the "Aetheric II" enchantment. This enchantment allows the armor to repair itself when the player is under the open sky at night.
The new items feature animated textures with blue shimmering effects and fully colorized armor models in blue tones that match the Aetherworks style. During the repair process, the armor emits characteristic blue particles, serving as visual confirmation of the effect working.
Compatibility and Functionality
Aetherium-infused versions of the ashen cloak can be equipped with Inflictor Gems, which reduce incoming damage. Aetherium-infused goggles retain all the overlay visual effects characteristic of standard Ashen Goggles from Embers.
Armor Statistics
Each enhanced armor piece receives an additional 2 toughness points:
- Aetherium-Infused Goggles - 4 armor
- Aetherium-Infused Cloak - 8 armor
- Aetherium-Infused Leggings - 6 armor
- Aetherium-Infused Boots - 4 armor
Aetherworks Crown Features
The Aetherworks Crown now functions as a bauble and can be placed in the corresponding headgear slot. This allows simultaneous use of both the crown's benefits and those of the ashen goggles. In the bauble slot, the crown does not provide any armor or toughness - this feature can be disabled in the mod settings.
Important Note
When installing through the Twitch client, a conflict may occur where both original Embers and Embers Rekindled are downloaded simultaneously. The game will not launch with both mods present - it's recommended to keep only Embers Rekindled and disable standard Embers for this addon to work correctly.
