The Aether II

Highlands Update

We've been working hard on a major update for The Aether II mod, completely rewriting the code and fundamentally changing every concept and aspect of the mod. New textures, blocks, NPCs, structures - all of this awaits you. And this is just the beginning! We're back on track to create the best version of The Aether II and opening the gates to this world for all players.

What is The Aether II?

The Aether II is the sequel to the incredibly popular dimension mod "The Aether", set in a hostile paradise high in the clouds. The Aether is a completely different world, unlike the familiar Minecraft reality, filled with fantastic creatures and mysterious structures. This world teems with life and has a rich history. You'll have to rethink key game concepts as The Aether challenges you with unusual materials, terrifying monsters, and deep lore if you want to survive and prosper in this strange new land.

As we approach the final release, dungeons, biomes, and NPC settlements will appear throughout the landscape, offering new exciting challenges and unique gameplay experiences.

What's New?

Unique Portal

The Aether II has its own unique portal! Create a frame of quartz blocks and activate it with water to enter The Aether II world!

Visual Update

The mod has received a major visual upgrade! New textures, mobs, blocks, and structures can be found in the hostile paradise of The Aether.

World Generation

We've completely overhauled world generation! The new territory in development increases the diversity and complexity of the landscape, adding caves, new biomes, and much more!

We have many plans for The Aether II. The Highlands update will be released soon and will include these features and more!

About Dungeons

The Highlands update for The Aether II is still in active development and currently does not include dungeons. We plan to begin work on implementing the first dungeon in the future, but exact timelines are not yet determined. This notice will be removed once the first dungeon is added to the mod.
