A Cold Day In The Nether
This mod expands the possibilities of the Nether by adding new biomes and elements that continue the development of the dimension started in the 1.16 update. Currently, the mod includes 4 new Nether biomes and 1 Overworld biome, 5 new mobs, 3 types of ore, and numerous building blocks.
Everfreeze Cirques

The Everfreeze Cirques represent a cold wasteland with temperatures below zero and howling winds. The trees here have been frozen since ancient times, and the skies are patrolled by Freezes - cold relatives of Blazes.
In this biome, you can find sapphires and prismatic ice. Sapphires possess the same icy properties as the biome itself. Prismatic ice can be used to create glowing glass or as an exceptionally slippery block.
Obsidian Dunes

The lands of the Obsidian Dunes are covered with masses of crushed obsidian shards. The dark color of the sand makes this place even darker than most others. However, surprisingly, there is quite a lot of vegetation here - cacti that burn upon touch and roots growing from the sands.
Dune Bouncers patrol these lands. Although quite weak individually, they are known to easily gather in groups against adventurers. Rumors speak of various loot they drop.
Petrified Fields

Decayed and forgotten, this biome resembles a distorted view of the Overworld. The fields are filled with rotten trees that will never yield saplings.
This biome is also inhabited by Vexes and a new variant of ghostly Creeper - the Stalker. These ghosts have lower health than their green counterparts but have a much stealthier appearance.
Salt Pits

In these places, the Nether feels even drier. These lands are covered with salt blocks and salt crystals. Wither skeletons patrol these areas for an unknown reason. Often, you can encounter skirmishes between them and the Piglins who also scout the territory.
Aspen Forests

A mountainous forest biome found in the Overworld. The trees here yield a white wood type and are even taller than birch! Gold is also particularly abundant here, similar to the badlands.
