Recipe Optimization [RO]
Crafting and Recipe Enhancements
This data pack introduces reasonable modifications to the item creation system, making the crafting process more convenient and logical for players.
Key Crafting Improvements
The data pack completely overhauls the transportation and functional block creation system. Special minecarts with furnaces, chests, TNT, and hoppers are now crafted using improved recipes. All types of minecarts are unified into a single recipe group for easier navigation.
Grouping Similar Recipes
The crafting system receives multiple simplifications by grouping similar recipes together. All Smithing Template copying patterns are now presented as a single group. Similarly, all banner patterns are collected in one place, significantly speeding up the search for the desired design.
Various copper block types are also systematized - recipes for creating all copper block variants, including items with different oxidation levels and waxed versions, are united into intuitive groups.
Output Quantity Changes
Some recipes have been rebalanced for increased crafting efficiency. Stair elements are now created in quantities of 6 per craft, which corresponds to more realistic material usage. Wooden planks are produced in sets of 4 units, better matching the wood processing procedure.
Category Changes
Wax-coated copper items - such as copper bulbs, doors, and trapdoors - are now classified in the "Redstone" category, reflecting their function in mechanisms and automation. This change simplifies inventory organization and the search for interconnected elements.
These modifications allow players to spend less time searching for recipes and more time on actual gameplay, making the interaction with the crafting system smoother and more enjoyable.
