Generation 3

This resource pack works exclusively with the Generations mod. It adds all necessary files for displaying Generation 3 Pokémon in high-definition modern models, and also enables their acquisition in-game through integration with Cobblemon. The resource pack is compatible with both versions - Fabric and NeoForge.

Pokémon Models & Animations

Immerse yourself in the world of Pokémon within Minecraft, enjoying high-polygon Pokémon models. The development team spent over two years creating their own rendering engine called RareCandy from scratch, ensuring smooth gameplay and seamless integration with Cobblemon. Explore the game with fully animated models, including idle, walking, running/flying, attack, sleeping, roar, fainting, and happy animations!

Expanded Pokédex

Unlock the vast world of Pokémon with Generations - the mod seamlessly integrates the complete Pokédex into Cobblemon, from Generation 1 all the way through Generation 9. How does it work? Cobblemon already contains the basic files and species data for the entire Pokédex, so we simply activate them, create spawn data - and voila! Magic!

How to Start Playing

If you're new to mods, we strongly recommend using our ready-made modpack. Two versions are available - for Forge and Fabric. Mod packs are typically installed with one click - simply download the Modrinth app, find Generations in the modpacks section, and click "Install".

If you prefer manual installation, download all dependencies and place them in the mods folder along with the Generations file.

Configuration settings are not required, but if you want to customize gameplay, check out the information about various settings.

We are the team previously known as the creators of the Pixelmon Generations mod for version 1.12.2, with multi-million downloads over more than 6 years of development. Generations (now under a shortened name and updated branding) aims to bring all the features of the classic Pixelmon Generations you know to modern Minecraft and Cobblemon.
