Vim! - Gameplay Enhancement Mod for Nukacraft

Vim! is a quality of life modification specifically designed for the Nukacraft: Fallout mod. This addon significantly expands survival possibilities and makes gameplay more balanced.

Core Functionality in Version 0.0.3:

Alternative Material Usage

Steel replaces iron in the following recipes:

• Anvils and blast furnaces
• Chains and flint and steel
• Rails and saddles (recipe restored)
• Shears and shields
• Smithing table and stone cutter
• Buckets and iron pickaxes

Aluminum is used instead of iron for creating:

• Compasses and crossbows
• Hoppers and lanterns
• Minecarts and pistons
• Tripwire hooks

New Crafting Recipes

Added ability to craft various items:

• Cooking raw brahmin meat
• Obtaining string from wool
• Creating "dirty" wool (light gray from textile)
• Cleaning wool using Abraxo
• Saturnite production
• Obtaining nether warts from blocks
• Empty medical items
• Ultracite powder and redstone
• Refining cobalt and scarlet flux
• RadX manufacturing

Universal Materials

Hardened leather can be used instead of regular leather for:

• Bundles and saddles
• Item frames

Goo fully replaces slime in all standard Minecraft recipes.

Unique Loot

Armor in overseer's chest: 25% chance to find power armor frame and up to 6 power armor pieces.

Pip-boy in rare vault chests: 25% drop chance.

Medical System

New healing items:

• Stimpacks that leave empty versions after use
• Rad Away with similar mechanics
• Doctor's bag with refill capability
• Vim! drink

Project Development Plans

Developers plan to add:

• Chemistry station for filling empty medical items
• Fusion core recharging station
• Drink mixing station
• Raider sieges (zombie siege equivalent with Fallout mobs)
• Mole-rat spawning in caves
• Water-tight seals for power armor
• Complete flux refining system
• Wasteland flags
• Handheld drill system (pickaxe alternative)
• Custom backpack system
• Separate compatibility project for popular mods
